@BenjiGameDev The thing is, it's not a thumbs down. It literally says, "Not Recommended", which is just the person saying, "I wouldn't recommend this". As I said on that post, I like lots of stuff but that doesn't mean I'd recommend it. Just them express themselves and focus on development.

@mattbarton Ask these supposed "AI": "What percentage of an LLM or processes like spatial diffuse is actually intelligent or feature true artificial intelligence?" They'll likely confirm very little if any at all. If they're going to require this, specifics need to be established, properly.

@mattbarton LOL they don't even need to because they're not using "AI". What most people are using is what amounts to a massive data calculator. A problem is input, an system solution is output. I've built LLMs for nearly 15 years now, and most last nearly no intelligence at all.

@RetroSpaceGame The thing is, this is a "Not Recommended" it's not a "downvote" or a "thumbs down" like I keep seeing people suggest. It's very possible to enjoy something but not want to recommend it. This person is saying that they enjoyed it but won't recommend it because it's not complete.

@masseruk @BigfryTV @Ron_insights Thanks for the information. Oddly enough, it sounds like they did as good as they could do, to be honest. I've seen massive companies like Nexon and NCSoft launch FPS games and shut them down in less time than Bulkhead kept theirs going. Looking forward to Wardogs, regardless.

I believe some console releases like Final Fantasy VII Rebirth & Baldur's Gate 3 included either multiple discs or required a partial install from the disc with the rest being downloaded. So I reckon regardless, there will be a need to download some portion of the game.

A friend of mine voiced his frustration about GTA not launching with a physical disc. I told him that GTA 6 likely won't even fit on an Ultra Blu-Ray Disc which only store 100GB. The leaked pre-alpha was said to be 80GB, so it's like double or triple that now. #GTA6 #Thoughts

@BigfryTV @Ron_insights I've heard people talking about them releasing some game in the pass, saying they abandoned it, but I never looked into it. Will have to look into that today just to see what it was. However, I'm never of the belief that people can't find their footing after a misstep.

@TheronHodge3 @dom_lucre Yea I mean as an artist myself, I'll tell you most people in my circle write about stuff they did or things wish they could do. We rarely make stuff up out of thin air. In this particular case, it definitely seems like a warning. It often takes people like you pointing it out.

@DNIGabbard I remember Vladmir Putin citing this as one of the reasons for his invasion into Ukraine; suggesting that it was a threat that had to be dealt with. I definitely wasn't expecting a formal, especially public, acknowledgement of this by the U.S.

God has also been contradictory, saying "thou shall not kill" yet telling the Israelites to utterly obliterate their enemies (Deuteronomy 20:16-17). So yea, he's flexible.

@TaraBull Man that is some GTA shit. Two random people leap from a boat, and players just have to shoot them for no apparent reason haha. I remember watching my friend play GTA V and all he was doing was running over pedestrians and killing innocents; shit was weird to watch.

@BigfryTV Yea and people don't understand that many of the people being hired aren't competent at their jobs. The last corpo job I worked, I was spending days not working while waiting on other coders to finish their job. They'd have 20 coders doing a jobs that should have required only 1.

@BigfryTV Fuck man... Yea I remember hearing a few of my friends hyping it up that are huge SOCOM fans and then I heard nothing and saw them stop streaming it. I figured it might have just failed to keep the content coming, because I didn't see you covering it like that. Makes sense now.
