Well China isn't on a war footing but I'm sure that there is a healthy respect of capabilities between both sides otherwise why not overpower China? It's never that simple if you're similarly matched is it? China has different weapons, I believe they have hypersonic glide vehicles which would cause a huge problem if it came to that. The "my dick is bigger than yours" isn't where I was going anyway.
If China stopped sending all its goods to America that would be a massive shock. Because they produce much. It's a symbiotic relationship. So there's not a real prospect of any significant war imho.
If energy, research, material processing (rare earth etc) are aheard and AI catching up... All the signs are pointing to china getting ahead, sorry if you don't like it. I just try to be a realist.

I think you misread what he's said and talked about. It's simple, do you let people walk into your home uninvited? No.
It's nothing to do with skin tone. As others have said its about integration of those that are here legally as well.
Don't also forget that Rupert is probably the only person with different idea to the majority of politicians and that's why he's under attack. He's rational on business and how business operates. Control is the opposite of growth. He wants the freemarket to grow Vs the ongoing current of control that is being forced on us.

Get real, a controlled society is EXACTLY that. If that's what you want take yourself and go do it elsewhere. The problem is although you may dislike their approach they make sense and are obviously successful at what they're trying to do.
If you look to the other side which wants to control everything so that nothing gets done, human freedoms are lost and countries stagnate to death then go right ahead.
Some have likened the European union to the USSR, as the top power structures are unelected and make questionable choices.

I am a poultry Breeder. The hens that lay white eggs (Amberline/White Star) DO NOT have a lower carbon footprint.

Yes they eat a bit less and produce roughly the same amount of eggs as the Brown egg layers (Bovan/Lowman/ISA Brown) but they live shorter lives, are prone to dying suddenly when startled, a flighty and nervous and because they live shorter productive lives (12 -18mnths) vs brown 18/24mnths (both commercial farmed), you have to incubate more which is increased (Electricity/gas costs) and their eggs are not the same quality.

I breed and keep 20+ different breeds, including: ISA Brown hens and White Stars. All my hens are 100% free range, Not a single barn kept bird, I have ISA browns that are 5yrs old and still laying beautiful Brown eggs, I have not seen a White star live beyond 3yrs and certainly none have laid eggs past 18-24mnths.
White stars Lay themselves to death. They are slender birds and because they dont eat a lot, it drains their personal vitality to keep up laying the eggs you want to sell because of the nonsensical lie that they are "More Carbon Neutral"

You want to know about eggs, come talk to someone like me, Don't rely on some hairbrained imagination of a buyer who's trying to squeeze the profit margin for a few extra pennies at our expense and to the poor hens detriment.

Problem is I doubt the gov has anyone with experience dealing with that sort of supply chain = crisis, bad management and probably failure.
The reason the free market works is you can trust the incentive of the people running it (greed, survival, growth, fear?). Without a strong incentive it's more likely to have bad management and in the end failure.

Thinking about Communism and its effects on society. My thoughts currently are that it is the attempt to control us humans. To cap our potential, create a limit. Freedom of expression, of religion, spirituality is often stamped out under such governance to cement the culture together so that everyone is the same and can then relate to each other through the same lens and the faith is in the governing system. However anyone who has been to a job they don't like doing or school they hated will know that depressing feeling of being forced to do what you know isn't what you want. Some people may find they thrive under a control system but many will not.

Once the freemarket is allowed to operate to some degree prosperity begins. Only once people have more resources and security can they start to pursue greater life goals. Art, culture, community, spiritual discovery. I personally believe that with the freedom to discover what you are truly great at and enjoy you can enjoy your life as well as creating the best positive impact for humanity.

I believe what we are witnessing now in the west is the degradation of the moral system that brought about the rise of the west. Once people start acting in a way that is based on survival and or greed the system is in decay. Morality is the key element for a positive growth system. If you don't have faith that your fellow humans will act with decency and respect then positive growth will be limited.
Elon musk talks about short term empathy causing long term problems. This self-preservation behaviour feels necessary to individuals and continues the cycle of decline. Only a reset in society, people coming together and recognising the value of each other will bring about the next swing into prosperity IMHO.

Am I right?
