Mark Ingram in two trips to Pittsburgh with the #Ravens:
19 carries, 44 yards, 1 TD in 26-23 OT win in 2019
Did not play in 2020 matchup while on COVID list.
Loud AND wrong on stage.
@CarterCritiques I don’t know man… this might be the first pick in the Kahn/Weidle era that I’m not happy with…seems like a bit of a reach, but then again, I’m not a nfl GM either.
14 years ago, this stadium was destroyed in one of the most horrific tragedies in American sports history
Thought after watching that happen live that they’d never be able to rebuild it
And now, it’s hosting the NFL Draft
What a turnaround
"We can disagree and still love each other unless your disagreement is rooted in my oppression and denial of my humanity and right to exist."
― James Baldwin
You cannot discuss the NFL Draft being in Pittsburgh without mentioning the man who transformed the draft...and the future of the Steelers
In the 60's Pittsburgh Courier writer, Bill Nunn, was responsible for selecting the black All-American team. He'd spend the fall in the deep south meeting with coaches and developed a network of over 100 schools
Despite there being virtually no black scouts in the NFL, Dan Rooney was bold and smart enough to hire Bill
Over the next 6 years, the Steelers drafted 25 players from HBCUs - more than double the league average
Famously in 1974, Bill pulled off what is still the greatest draft class of all-time. 4 Hall of Famers + Donnie Shell as an undrafted free agent (another HOfer)
His career with the Steelers last 47 years. In 2021, Bill joined 13 players he scouted as an inductee of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Amazon, which saved $4B in taxes under Trump's Big Ugly Bill, has cut 30,000 jobs since last October.
Verizon, which saved $2B, plans to cut 15,000 jobs this year.
Meta, which saved $3B, plans to lay off 20% or more of its workforce.
Trickle-down economics is a cruel joke.
Sewell: In a 2024 podcast interview, you suggested that black children on ADHD medication should be re-parented . Have you ever re-parented or parented a black child?
RFK JR: I'm not going to answer something that I didn't say.
Sewell: You absolutely said it.
Woe to those who manipulate religion and the very name of God for their own military, economic, and political gain, dragging that which is sacred into darkness and filth. #ApostolicJourney#Cameroon https://t.co/bKteFZ3iWE
