Strategically it would make sense, the obvious backlash would come from MSM with labelling Albo "dictator" etc...

@4Qpolies Depends on which electorate you live in, the further away from the major cities the more likely someone is to vote no, well basing on my personal experience. This probably correlates with the free Sky News Regional access. I know some people who are "don't know" vote No's...

@bradpsychology I assume I am younger than most on this thread. My friends and I, get most of our news from online sources, we also check out stories that sound like BS on media watch and other fact checking webpages. Australia has a good future if young people fact check MSM claims...
