@metrotvgh WAEC’s monopoly must end. Ghana must learn from Nigeria, South Africa, and the UK where multiple examination bodies operate under one regulator. The establishment of NECO in Nigeria in 1999 was a direct response to this same problem of lack of accountability and public trust.

@ghonetv This should come as no surprise. The credibility of WAEC results is in doubt, with widespread reports of grade buying. Universities have now realized that many students with top WAEC grades are underperforming, which is why entrance examinations have become necessary
