@FionaPWME@profesterman Itβs a very interesting virus. Apparently in some parts of NZ you can only visit the hospitals after 3pm because of covid. Presumably the virus is contagious before then but after itβs ok π€¨
@profesterman@ConversationEDU We flew into NZ 2 weeks ago. Negative pre departure supervised RAT, supplied 3 tests each on arrival for day 1 and 5. Mask are still mandatory here in retail, public transports, hospitality etc. So far so good
@Reasonableques3@stephenjduckett I often think this but no one ever brings it up. What is the alternative? Everyone complaining about how things are going but no one suggests what we should do otherwise π€·π»ββοΈ
@bedward36141403@MJA_Editor Can you tell me the science behind mandating masks for staff in retail and hospitality but not customers? You can go into work as a customer to buy something but not have to wear a mask but the minute your shift starts you have to wear it?
@AndrewPatrick_ @kerplunk_au @benitakolovos It makes zero since. I thought I was free until a co-worker pointed out retail staff have to wear them. Why canβt it be a personal choice?
