Jackson Hargreaves, a biology student at @santarosajc, spent last summer at the @ucdavis Bodega Marine Laboratory as part of the SRJC-BML Internship Program, where he focused on sustainable #aquaculture for red #abalone under @AbaloneQueen's guidance: https://t.co/6L1MiqG4MS
Massive #waves@bodegamarinelab. This was the result of the biggest wave I've ever seen. It came up over the bluff and I thought it was going to hit my office window. Actually ran from my office because it was so much water.
Have you ever seen an #inkeeper#worm (Urechis caupo) #ultrasound? This a cross section of the animal. You can see the #peristaltic contractions in the clip. Sorry the patient is mislabelled as a peanut worm. @bodegamarinelab
Saw this amazing giant silk moth on the side of the house in Occidental, CA. It was so large. The wings were about 2.5-3 inches long and I can only guess how wide the wings were when open. #MothMonday
I saved this false tarantula (Calisoga longitarsis) last night from the fire pit. She came in with the firewood. I set her in a very shallow dish of water to cool off. I thought she wasn't going to make it, but look at her after a few hours of recovering in the garden.
@EcoEvoLab @that_darn put some instructions up and poof, no doge.
R-Click on pic of dog, Click on Inspect, R-Click on the highlighted code and then select "Hide Element."
The #abalone lab is next door to the Boating and Dive Safety classroom and the dummies scared the day lights out of me this morning. @BodegaMarineLab@UCDavis
