The Executive Chairman of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area, Prince Lanre Sanusi, has confirmed that a truck carrying over 200 suspected criminals was intercepted along the Lagos-Badagry Expressway near Alakija Bus Stop. The swift operation followed credible intelligence from residents, prompting immediate action by the local government in coordination with the Nigeria Police and other security agencies.

Prince Sanusi, alongside the Divisional Police Officer of Festac Division and other operatives, monitored the situation to ensure proper handling and investigation. The chairman reaffirmed his administration's commitment to public safety, urged continued vigilance from residents, and commended the professionalism of the security agencies involved.
