America’s freedom & prosperity is owed to a long line of warriors brave enough to stand between the land of the free & its enemies.
How lucky we are to be American and stand on the shoulders of these giants.

Five years ago, an Islamic terrorist carried out a suicide bombing at Abbey Gate in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Thirteen brave Americans paid the ultimate price for our country.
We will forever honor their memory and keep their families in our prayers.
Five years ago today, 13 American service members were killed at Abbey Gate in Afghanistan. It was one of the darkest days in the history of our country — and it happened because of weak American leadership.
We will NEVER FORGET these heroes.

.@SECWAR "Since November 2024... the U.S. military has seen its HIGHEST RECRUITING RECORDS IN 30 YEARS.
Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy, Space Force—they’re not just beating goals, but we’re exceeding them months and months in advance."
The Department of War was proud to celebrate Freedom 250 by helping bring the Washington, D.C. Grand Prix to life!
Celebrating 250 years of American freedom, strength, and the warriors who have defended it.
.@USDASDuffey “The defense industrial base is a key strategic asset to the country to ensure that we can provide what we NEED for our warfighters and for the security of the American people.
Our focus has been on how do we engage industry—which we’ve done very AGGRESSIVELY since we came into office—and lay down the expectations of what we need from industry in order to deliver for the warfighter.”
.@USDASDuffey "President Trump, Secretary Hegseth, and Chairman Caine have all stated clearly that WE ARE READY—the U.S. military can defeat any threat at the time and place of our choosing."
On May 29, 2026, @SECWAR, Mrs. Hegseth, and senior Department of War staff traveled aboard the USS Boxer and joined our Marines and Sailors for morning PT.
Deployments are incredibly challenging. Always have been—always will be.
But we have your back.
I had the opportunity this week to spend time with U.S. troops and partner forces from 19 nations participating in
#PANAMAX2026.
Our service members were exceptional. Their professionalism, discipline, and commitment were on display every day. They represent the very best of our military and continue to prove that our greatest strength is the men and women who serve.
Proud of this team and proud of what they accomplished alongside our partners.
May God bless our troops and their families, watch over them wherever they serve, and when their mission is complete, bring them safely home to the loved ones awaiting their return.
We called on industry to rapidly scale up munitions output, and @RTX_News is delivering.
This landmark Tomahawk contract ensures our warfighters continue to have the lethal firepower they need to win.
