@matt_e_cochran@cezargolescu So true. When I reply to women online about this they get angry and assume I'm a man. They must get something out of everything they do, there is no loving sacrifice. It's almost always "what will I get out of it?" not "how can I show my love?" His needs mean nothing
@Chptr31@_brinxinx What did I say about pain and illness? Products can be used for dryness. I'm talking about the things important to each person as a show of love and needing to feel loved. Ignoring that is selfish. Physical touch is huge in a marriage. He's trying to fix it, she's brushing it off
@Chptr31@_brinxinx You added pain. I'm not talking about anything regarding illness or pain. When you truly love and care for someone you take pleasure in their happiness. Men do all sorts of things for their wives that they aren't in the mood to do or aren't interested in. Goes both ways.
@Cherryds69@_brinxinx ๐๐ as a woman who's been with the same man for 20 years you are correct, I've never been in any relationship with a woman let alone a long term one ๐
@Chptr31@_brinxinx Yes I'm a woman, I understand our hormonal cycles. Generally speaking women tend to expect their emotional needs to be met but won't meet the needs of their spouse unless they're in the mood to. If their hubs did that to them they'd be pissed.
@_brinxinx Some women are so selfish it's insane. He's telling her what he needs to feel love and connection from her and she's rejecting him because she doesn't feel like putting in any effort. I bet he is there for her in moments where he doesn't feel like it.
@GandalfGreybush@Fatherspyridon I'm only a catechumen, but aren't we called to take up our cross and follow the narrow path? Wouldn't the line be anything that moves one away from God? Which kind of success is more important, that of the world, or of God?
@Reply7676238460@evilmatryoshka My husband calls me on his way home from work and we visit. We spend time together in the morning before he leaves for work and we have moments after he gets home. It changes over time so when our kids were babies it looked a little different but not much.
@Reply7676238460@evilmatryoshka It's all about how one chooses to look at it. I have a very healthy marriage and this is how we did it. I utilized other moments for 'me' time. Sometimes bedtime just isn't a good time and being well rested is much better for mama. For me I have my time in the morning.
@PKMfantasies@DnaiFear@MeghanEMurphy Again with the incorrect assumptions. Sorry I don't have a blue check or a big following. I'm just a simple wife and homeschooling mom. I guess from your worldview that makes me unimportant?
@PKMfantasies@DnaiFear@MeghanEMurphy You've completely misunderstood me. You're misrepresenting me as a person, my journey through life, you're making poor assumptions about me and then run away from dialogue before I can even consider a defense. What a coward.
@PKMfantasies@DnaiFear@MeghanEMurphy Oh please. I've been with my husband for 20 years, married 16....the majority of that time I was pagan and then an atheist. Don't act like you know anything about me. You are completely misrepresenting what I'm trying to say.
@DnaiFear@PKMfantasies@MeghanEMurphy No. You are misunderstanding. Nagging, holding on to past behavior that has been resolved, not allowing space for error when trying is damaging. There are healthy ways of dealing with issues in a marriage and unhealthy ones and it goes both ways.
@DnaiFear@PKMfantasies@MeghanEMurphy Nagging, belittling, general disrespect talking down to, treating them like children, not letting prior issues go -using them in every new issue, general selfishness, expects to be served not serving, ignoring the husbands needs, controlling/manipulative
@dovidfeldman I think it's connected to our ovulation cycle. Farther away from ovulation there is less interest, it's hormonal. Many women just don't realize that and often are too selfish to be intimate with their husband if they aren't in the mood. It's all about them.
@PlayBackPr13326@Patternsnvrlie Did you read what he was responding to? He seems pretty on point to me. It's interesting how you start out with personal attacks rather than going after what he specifically said that you disagree with.
