You need to have balls of steel to drive "intellectual" conversations in today's Nigeria social media space.
As for the congregation of the uprisen olodos, in the conversation of the Olodo uprising - I have decided to share my own think piece.
Dear Muslim,
Now that we know that it pains Shaytan and the little Shayātin very badly when we speak of Islam, don't hold back on your Islam. Post it everyday like your breath depends on it. Affirm and reaffirm that it is the only true faith in the sight of God. Affirm and reaffirm the truth of Islam, spread its message and never shy to make it known that you are proud and grateful for being a Muslim.
Let the little Shayātin feel the pain and never get healed from it until they respect your faith as you've always respected theirs.
AlhamduliLlah for Islam. There will never be a blessing greater than being a Muslim. May we live and die ONLY as Muslims. Āmīn.
Respectfully sir @ChidiOdinkalu

RE: LET PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI REST IN PEACE – NASIR AHMAD EL-RUFAI
“What struck me when we first met was his austere, untidy appearance, and the debilitating skin disease - some kind of eczema that gave him a botched, discolored aspect. I got to know him, I concluded that he was very untidy, dirty even, rarely bathing and never caring to ever dress neatly.”
- Nasir El-Rufai’s description of Mallam Umaru Musa Yar’Adua (pg. 369, Chapter 15, Accidental Public Servant).
Your 5th paragraph here - “…as he is no longer alive to defend himself.”
Was Umaru Musa Yar’Adua alive when you penned that scathing portrait of him? Or unlike Buhari, he did not deserve to rest in peace? Or perhaps his followers did not merit the honour of decorum and dignified silence from observers and critics alike? Physician, heal thyself. For the pot that mocks the soot should first examine its own bottom.
It would appear you did not think too highly of your own counsel when you only gathered the liver to write so uncharitably about your friend and brother, Umaru, only when he was no longer around to defend himself. As the elders say, the goat is tied, yet the knife boasts - bravery that blooms only in the absence of resistance.
Jesus Christ and Prophet Muhammad had been gone for over a thousand years at least, yet opinions, debates, and commentaries will never cease about their impacts, exploits, and even their very existence - such is the price of greatness. Once the elephant falls, every hidden machete suddenly emerge. Your stories are mostly told by others, in praise and in blame alike. Those who pretend to wear the robe of scholarship, such as yourself, should know this simple truth: history has no mute button.
Your 4th paragraph:
“It was also unsettling to see individuals celebrating Buhari in death who had neither his trust nor his respect in life…”
If by this you meant the late President’s own immediate family; his friend and ally, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, with whom he stood shoulder to shoulder to achieve his lifelong ambition of becoming President - even when hope lay flat on its back after three defeats - are among those who had neither his trust nor respect, then you share strong semblance with a certain Ishakaba, whose trade is crying louder than the bereaved.
And I will only regurgitate the same counsel I gave the fellow: no matter how your kind deceive themselves into believing they held Buhari’s best interest at heart, you cannot love him more than the wife who shared his nights, nor the children who carry his blood. It is consistently embarrassing to see the owner of the milk remain calm while tin scavengers run mad.
Congratulations on the Publication of your work on a Q1 Journal. I’m also grateful for the Publication of my artistic work of arts “JOKOSIBÈ” in a SCOPUS Indexed Journal!
For those in academia understand that acceptance of paper in Routeledge Journal is noteworthy!
For many of you in academia that has devoted your time to research and critique my works, I’m grateful beyond measures and it can only get better and better.
The abstract of this paper is solid and it shows the true essence of academic scholarship and rigorous intellectual engagement, however I’ll also run through the full manuscript hopefully before the day runs out.
Cheers my Brother!

How did she come up with that documentary that displayed Yoruba without a single mention of Yorùbá?
