Quick way to know if Halo can control your monitor:

Look in the monitor's own on-screen menu for a DDC/CI setting and make sure it's on. Some ship with it off.

Most monitors work over USB-C, DisplayPort or HDMI. This part needs an Apple silicon Mac.
