Pale Blue Dot is a photo of Earth that was taken by the Voyager 1 space probe in 1990 from a distance of about 6 billion kilometers (3.7 billion miles) as it was leaving our solar system. This is what Carl Sagan said about the photo:

آئیے جائزہ لیتے ہیں کے رجیم کی طرف سے بدترین کریک ڈاؤن کے بعد آج تحریک انصاف کہاں کھڑی ہے۔ کیونکہ میڈیا کے سچ بولنے پر حکومت نے سخت پابندی لگائی ہے اس لئے سیاسی میدان کا حقیقی جائزہ ضروری ہے:

- دس ہزار گرفتاریوں کے بعد واحد ثبوت یہ پیش کیا گیا کے ۹ مئی کو قیادت نے ایک دوسرے سے فون پر بات کی۔ ڈاکٹر یاسمین، جن کو پی ڈی ایم اور آئی جی نے میڈیا ٹرائل میں گبر سنگھ سے بڑا villain پیش کیا تھا، ان کو ثبوت نا ہونے کی بنیاد پر عدالت نے کور کمانڈر ہاؤس حملہ کیس سے بری کر دیا۔

- تحریک انصاف سے منسلک افراد کے گھر والوں کو دھمکیاں، کاروبار بند اور خواتین اور بچوں کو ہراساں کرنے کے بعد پنجاب میں 300 میں سے 30 کے قریب قائدین یا ٹکٹ ہولڈر نے پارٹی یا سیاست اور خیر آباد کہا۔ عمران خان کا ووٹ بینک آج اپنی جگہ موجود۔ الیکشن ہو جائے تو پورے بنجاب میں عمران خان کے امیدوار پوسٹر لگائے اور کیمپیگن کئے بغیر بھی جیت جائیں گے۔

- پریس کانفرنس والے حضرات پر نئی کنگز پارٹی جوائین کرنے کے دباؤ کے باوجود کنگز پارٹی ٹیک آف کرنے میں ناکام۔ اس گروپ نے لوگوں کو بہت convince کرنے کی کوشش کی گئی کے اب الیکشن نہیں سیلیکشن ہو گی۔ لیکن electables نے انھیں جواب دیا کے گراؤنڈ پر فرق بہت زیادہ ہے، یہ پورا نیں ہو پائے گا۔

- تحریک انصاف کو عوام کے دلوں سے نکالنے کی بھر پور کوشش ہوئی۔ سارے میڈیا کو عمران خان کا نام لینے سے منع کر کے ٹی وی سکرینز کو سیاست کی چند ہونہار ستاروں کے حوالے کیا گیا۔ رانا ثناء، قادر پٹیل، شرجیل میمن ، طلال چوہدری، عطا تارڑ، عظمی بخاری وغیرہ نے محنت تو بہت کی لیکن ناکام رہے۔ البتہ پی ڈی ایم کے سنجیدہ مزاج قائدین نے بڑی دانشمندی سے اپنے آپ کو اس عمل سے دور رکھا۔

- جہاں ہمارے کچھ سیاستدان صحافی قوم کو 'power is power' کا درس دیتے رہے تھے وہاں سوشل میڈیا نے 'truth to power' کا کام سرانجام دے دیا۔ جہاں کچھ مقامی دانشور 'مقبلولیت ہے لیکن قبولیت نہیں' پر قوم کو راضی کرنے میں لگ گئے وہاں بین القوامی میڈیا نے پاکستان میں آئین کی بالادستی اور قانون کی حکمرانی کی اشد ضرورت کو اجاگر کیا۔

- اس دوران معیشت کا جنازہ نکل گیا۔ پاکستانی روپیہ دیوالیہ ممالک کی کرنسی سے بھی کمزور ہو گیا اور مہنگائی ہماری 75 سالہ تاریخ کی بلند ترین سطح پر ہے۔ زرداری صاحب نے بیان دیا کے وہ ۱۰۰ ارب ڈالر تک reserves کو لے جانے کی صلاحیت رکھتے ہیں۔ کاش وہ اس رقم کے %10 کےبھی قابل ہوتے تو قوم انھیں ووٹ دینے کو تیار ہو جاتے۔

- لہازا ۹ مئی کے افسوس ناک واقع کو بنیاد اور بہانہ بنا کر تحریک انصاف کے خلاف جو بھی اہداف طے کئے گئے وہ زیادہ تر پورے نا ہوئے۔ چند پریس کانفرنسز ضرور ہوئیں لیکن عمران خان کے phenemenon پر اس کا فرق نا پڑا۔ آئین اور جمہوریت کا تختہ الٹنے کا جواز حاصل نا ہو سکا۔ جس شدت سے جبر اور ظلم کیا گیا، اسی شدت سے ملک میں آئین اور قانون کی حاکمیت کی ضرورت کا احساس اجاگر ہوا۔

- اب ہیاں سے دو ہی راستے ہیں۔۔مزید جبر اور فسطایت یا مفاہمت اور جمہوریت۔ بچھلے 14 ماہ میں رجیم نے جتنے فیصلے کئے وہ سب کے سب غلط ثابت ہوئے۔ اپنی ذات سے نکل کر ملک کے لئے سوچا جائے تو اب بھی یہ کوئی اتنا مشکل فیصلہ نہیں۔
