On 11 may 2026, A Taliban backed TTP suicide bomber who was trying to target a security post in Jhand, district Attock, Punjab, was stopped by a resident of the area who found him suspicious.

The suicide bomber exploded himself,

The local civilian Liaqat was martyred.
A brave civilian gave his life to protect others.

The courage with which Liaqat stopped the attacker without caring for his own life and sacrificed himself for the protection of the people of his area will always be remembered.

May Allah Almighty grant the deceased a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and give patience to the bereaved family.
