I am currently reading 'Rise and Kill First' by Ronan Bergman. There's a lot to say about this book. I have never seen anyone describe murder so colourfully and with such dark humour. Bergman has got admirable writing skills but in the end, he is a despicable human being.

@EniolaStocks You already know some of them. The words have simply been assimilated into everyday language. The most high God is called Ubangiji. There's also a pantheon of spirits collectively called 'iskokai'. The priests who have the knowledge to communicate with the spirits are 'bokaye'.

I thoroughly detest Bergman and his book. The tone and humour he employed are disgusting. Still, the book is an important contribution to the conflict.

There were many people that told me, WARNED ME about the ethnic cleansing happening to Palestine and I thought they were just “leftist commies”.

Even before October 7th - which was also horrible.
