Every year the same story: Tax Audit deadline extension demanded, government delays, then grants it at the last minute. This isn't a one-off ask, it's a structural problem. Here's why it happens EVERY year.

Income-tax utilities and audit forms are frequently notified or revised late, sometimes mid-season. Audits can't be finalized against forms that are still changing, every delay in utility release shrinks the real working window, regardless of how efficiently the work is done.

The same period also carries GST annual returns and TDS/TCS filings. These aren't competing tasks piled on one profession, they're statutory deadlines that were independently set without accounting for their overlap with the audit timeline.

The real fix isn't asking anyone to do more faster, it's fixing the sequencing at the source: move upstream deadlines (ITR filing, utility release) earlier, or formally recognize 31 October as the realistic audit date going forward.

@nsitharaman @FinMinIndia, Section 119 exists precisely for cases like this. Extend the deadline now, and fix the sequencing for good.

हर दिन बहुत सारे CAs के messages आ रहे हैं।

Honestly, सबको individually reply करना possible नहीं है। बहुत से professionals genuinely panic और stress में हैं।

लेकिन believe me, हम अपनी तरफ से पूरी कोशिश कर रहे हैं। X पर और बाकी platforms पर भी लगातार आवाज़ उठा रहे हैं, ground reality सामने रख रहे हैं।

थोड़ी कमी बस ये लग रही है कि हमारे अपने elected representatives and leadership का support दिखाई नहीं दे रहा।

लेकिन इससे ना मैं रुकने वाला हूँ, ना हममें से कोई।

जो fair है, वो fair है।

20+ professional associations ने भी representations भेजी हैं। मतलब ये किसी एक CA या किसी एक group की बात नहीं है। पूरे profession में genuine concern है।

और कब तक हम ये बोलकर पीछे हटते रहेंगे कि “ये तो trade body की duty है”?

Trade bodies की अपनी role है, बिल्कुल है। लेकिन हम भी इसी profession का हिस्सा हैं।

ये हमारा office है।
हमारा काम है।
हमारे clients हैं।
हमारा staff है।
हमारी family और personal life भी है।

हर बार “professional welfare” के नाम पर ये expect नहीं किया जा सकता कि CA बस काम करता रहे, रात-दिन काम करता रहे और बाकी सब चीज़ें ignore कर दे।

हमें अपना काम भी करना है और अपनी life भी जीनी है। Balance माँगना कोई गलत बात नहीं है।

So, please don't panic.

हम आवाज़ उठाते रहेंगे। जितना possible है, उतना करेंगे।

क्योंकि जो fair है, वो fair है। और उसके लिए आवाज़ उठाना begging नहीं है। ❤️🥺
