The state of unemployment is alarming. Even after graduating, many youth are forced to work as delivery boys. Our government counts this as "employment," but it's not—it’s compulsion.

Qualified young men and women are working as salespeople instead of in skilled roles. This is a massive loss of our country’s human resources.

For instance, recruitment for the post of Assistant Executive Engineer has been pending since 2019. Why? Because of the outdated, rigid policies of some bureaucrats.

The recruitment for the position of Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) in Railway Engineering Services, Military Engineer Services, Central Engineering Services (Roads), Central Water Engineering Services, Border Roads Engineering Services, and the Geological Survey of India is conducted through a written examination by the UPSC.

Why, Odisha does not follow the same process for AEE positions.

Across India, https://t.co/KVUNgTjEFS graduates are eligible for Junior Engineer roles. But in our state, they are excluded. Why this unfair treatment? Why so much bias against https://t.co/KVUNgTjEFS students ??????????

Both https://t.co/KVUNgTjEFS and Diploma holders are eligible to participate in the recruitment process for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil), conducted by the Central Staff Selection Commission for organizations such as the Central Public Works Department (CPWD), Central Water Commission, Department of Water Resources, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Military Engineer Services (MES), Border Roads Organization (BRO), and various Railway Recruitment Boards. Additionally, all states and Union Territories follow the same eligibility criteria for the recruitment of Junior Engineers.

Why does Odisha not allow https://t.co/KVUNgTjEFS graduates to apply for the post of Junior Engineer ?????????

ହଜାର ହଜାର ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ଭବିଷ୍ୟତକୁ ଅନ୍ଧାରକୁ ଠେଲି ଦେଇ ସରକାର ଅବସର ପ୍ରାପ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ପୁଣି ଥରେ ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ଦେଉଛନ୍ତି। ତେଲିଆ ମୁଣ୍ଡରେ ତେଲ ଢାଳୁଛନ୍ତି। ପଦବୀ ଖାଲି ପଡ଼ିଛି ସେପଟେ ପିଲା ବେକାର ବସିଛନ୍ତି।

If this is the best method, then why is the Central Government recruiting AEE positions through the UPSC's own examination? I hope you were the Chief Secretary who misled the Chief Minister by providing false information that the OPSC had approved the GATE method in 2021.
