Providing government cars to every MLA would create an unnecessary burden. Cars should be allocated only to MLAs who genuinely need them for official travel.

An intelligence team should assess each MLA’s actual requirement, existing vehicle ownership and financial background before approving one.

Many MLAs already own multiple cars, so providing additional vehicles to everyone could easily lead to misuse.

Public money should be spent based on genuine need not political status or entitlement.
