Let me guess. The scientists aren’t Asian, arab or African. They’re from the group that has started the most wars and done the most damage to the earth.
@News24 Call it what it really is … prohibition !!! Whilst England is working to renationalise their energy and water services because provitastion has been such a disaster … we are privatising ? It will cost us dearly !
@News24 Eskom monopoly is a natural monopoly that should be left alone. Justifiable economically.
When Capital hitch hikers collapse the grid Eskom will be blamed as it is happening with high electricity prices because Eskom subsidize sponsors fake Electricity from Renewables.
Every time South Africans raise concerns, the response is always “you’re hurting the economy” or “you’re damaging our image”. Which economy are we protecting exactly? Because many South Africans have been locked out of this economy for years.
China has 39 nuclear reactors under construction, which accounts for roughly half of all nuclear construction globally; approximately 80 reactors under construction globally...in south africa politicians are taking loans for solar panels & wind vanes...stupidity personified

Black South Africans are getting a voice…just like Afrikaner with their Afriforum.
I’m just here for it 😉
The Orange Basin is a great example of how NGOs are holding SA back.
I was shocked to find out that 60% of the Orange Basin (where Namibia found its oil) is in South Africa.
The reason South Africa hasn't drilled for any oil is because NGOs are citing environmental impact
We need more Native oriented civic institutions to take on the myriad of "micro-complaints" & turn them into mass actions if we want to turn the ship around quicker in SA. Its good & well to fight the big fights but we have to change the culture of collective localised apathy.
Nothing pisses me off like the voices that keep telling us “let the police do their work” “let home affairs do their work” “let border management nywere nywere…”
Yerr….
We are in this mess because these people failed to do their job.
They are suddenly animated because of us
All state capture (privatisation of essential public monopolies and institutions) begins first with pretending the public monopoly on money supply doesn’t exist.
Holomisa is claiming (wrongly) that the rand issuing state has magically developed a shortage of rand with which to provision the defence force.
How crazy must things get before we stop pretending that the state is not the source of all rand?
Y’all obsessed with the idea that poor people might take more than they need, but we rarely question why some wealthy people are never satisfied with what they already have.
