Out of 10 Assistant Professor posts at GMC Anantnag and Baramulla, Open Merit candidates nearly 70% can compete for just (2) two. The remaining 8 posts are reserved!
Now tell me, what will MBBS students study there, and where will the remaining Open Merit candidates go?

I have neither forgotten nor left the students alone. I urge the government once again to talk to the students and uprise them of the measures and decisions taken to resolve this issue.
If that does not happen till Saturday, I will not leave our youth and students helpless. I will walk with them and sit with them on this coming Sunday at the same place as we did the last year on 23rd December to make them heard.

Total 502 posts. Only 106 under Open Merit and pure general category candidates are just 66 that's 13%.
This raises a serious question, what remains of General Category in J&K?
Reservation was meant to support, not to shrink merit into irrelevance. When students competing without any relaxation are left with crumbs the system loses balance. I was detained for speaking up on this but silence is not an option. This is not against any community. This is for fairness, transparency and equal opportunity.
Merit must not be the casualty.
Save our tribe.

It is an unequivocal endorsement of our demand for Divisional Reservation wherever feasible( submitted to Govt in feb last year) and, word for word, of exactly what I stated in the tweet below ,an hour before the video was released. What a coincidence indeed !
