في عام 1911، يتعاون رائد الطيران الفرنسي لويس بليريو مع الأخوين رايت لتأسيس شركة Blériot Transport Corporation (BTC)، وهي شبكة لامركزية لتسوية المدفوعات بالذهب عبر الطائرات.

يُسخر منها الاقتصاديون والصحافة باعتبارها فكرة غريبة محكوم عليها بالفشل، لكنها تُغيّر مجرى التاريخ في عام 1915 عندما تتيح للأوروبيين فرصة الهروب من تضخم الحرب عبر تصدير ثرواتهم إلى الدول المحايدة، ما يؤدي إلى ذعر مالي عالمي يُفلس البنوك المركزية الكبرىويدمّر عملاتها.
تنتهي الحرب العالمية فجأة، ويتم وأد تجربة النقود الورقية في مهدها.

يظهر نظام عالمي جديد قائم على المعيار الذهبي اللامركزي واقتصاد السوق الحر، وينطلق قرنٌ مختلف تمامًا.

If you're running Project EDGE flows like AU EDGE OEP v4 and AU EDGE ZEL v4, you're playing a key role in revolutionizing how energy is managed across decentralized systems. But what exactly do these flows do?

🔎 What’s happening under the hood:

1. Data Fetching:

Your node is actively fetching data from the OE Registry. this includes NMIs (National Metering Identifiers), which are unique IDs for energy assets. Think of these as digital fingerprints for energy consumers and producers.

This data is pulled from https://t.co/zBPA4GREWD and other AEMO endpoints (ZEL/OEP), ensuring it has up-to-date info on which energy assets are being monitored.

2. Grouping & Validation:

After fetching the NMI data, your node groups them by owner.

It uses a validation process to ensure these NMIs are correctly associated with their respective owners. This makes sure that the energy export and import limits apply to the right assets.

This step processes energy usage data, assigning NMIs to the correct owners, using AEMO’s framework.

3. Partitioning & Limit Allocation:

Based on time-varying export and import limits calculated by AEMO, your node partitions the NMIs and applies the limits to ensure that energy usage stays efficient.

For example, during times of low demand, export limits might be reduced to avoid overloading the grid.

In this flow, energy assets are assigned their limits, making sure that retailers and aggregators manage energy flows smoothly.

4. Merkle Tree Generation:

This is where blockchain magic happens! Your node generates a Merkle Tree, a cryptographic data structure that ensures the integrity of the data. This ensures that no tampering occurs between data fetching and reporting.

Think of it like a highly secure proof system that guarantees the data you’re sending is 100% verified and untampered.

5. Reporting & Sending Data:

Finally, your node packages this data and sends it off to the Energy Web Marketplace via API calls. This data is then used to adjust energy flows in real-time, ensuring that the grid operates smoothly.

Specifically, calls are made to https://t.co/aF2n50yKC2 and /oep, which communicate with the EWX Marketplace to finalize and report the validated energy data.

📜 How we know this:

We analyzed Node-red flows in json, terminal output, SQLite databases, IPFS storage, and performed API requests directly to endpoints, pulling in raw NMI data and validated outputs.

This deep dive into the flows revealed the exact steps your node takes to ensure proper energy management.

👨‍💻 The Flows:

Your AU EDGE OEP (Operating Envelope Protocol) manages export/import limits for distribution companies.

AU EDGE ZEL (Zero-Export Limit) ensures that excess energy is curtailed during low-demand times to avoid financial losses.

In other words, your node helps manage how much energy can be exported or imported into the grid, keeping the system efficient and cost-effective!
