October is not only #BlackHistoryMonth in the UK but is also Global Diversity Awareness Month. This illustration was commissioned by @elastic - and adopts the #SalutingOurSisters#bhm theme. A pattern was also created to go alongside the illustration in Elastic’s brand colours.
So this happened yesterday! The stamps that I drew for @RoyalMail are in @RMGreenwich! This art installation is in association with @CollectivMakers for #windrush75. The art is located in the museums reception area. Thanks @_thechase_ for the fab art direction.
Today marks the 75th anniversary of the Windrush ship docking at Tilbury and the Royal Mail stamps are now available to purchase at your local post office. This is one of mine titled, ‘From Small Island Life to Big Island Dreams’.
