Chris Foss was a fundamental part of Alejandro Jodorowsky’s ambitious and never-realized Dune, designing the ships, vehicles, and massive structures of the film’s universe. Already renowned for his science fiction illustrations throughout the 1960s and 70s, Foss developed an unmistakable style: gigantic machinery, intense colors, and geometric patterns that completely broke away from the grey and minimalist aesthetic dominating sci-fi at the time. 🚀
