@McClellanOsc@MerriamWebster Dictionaries are descriptive not prescriptive. Language naturally evolves based on current trends and what’s happening in the world, regulating language would lead to a loss of freedom. Since language affects our thoughts, affecting our beliefs and free will.
@OrwellNGoode This is false. When you round up, it’s considered a donation from you, not the store. They cannot claim it as a charitable tax deduction, doing so would be tax fraud. The reason they let you donate is for example for PR so they can say, "Our company raised $5 million for …!"
“Is everything alright?”
The reason I ask is not because I don’t trust you. But because I don’t want to make assumptions that you will always say what’s on your mind no matter how difficult. And when I say I trust you, I mean that I trust that you can always be honest when I ask.
“You accept me for who I really am.”
I don’t feel like I have to force myself to ‘accept’ parts of her, I just acknowledge her without judgement, the full her.
“And you love me for who I am.”
It’s honestly easy for me to love her. I believe others just didn’t try to before.
I used to think no one could love me in the way I love. Because it’s overwhelming. I thought I had to dial down the intensity. My exes either thought I was weird for how intensely I expressed my love, or simply kept a distance that did not allow my love to bloom.
I used to think I was incapable of saying ‘I love you’.
My ex always asked me to say it to her, but for some reason I just couldn’t. The most I could say is ‘I appreciate you’.
But with her, it feels like the most natural thing in the world, to say ‘I love you’.
