Please fast-check me. For the last 12 hours, cell phones and data services in most American cities have been down due to an outage with ATT, the largest U.S. cellular and data provider. Two hundred fifty million Americans are affected. Google it. It has still not been resolved. Most Americans can't call or use the Internet with all features. Yet, no American is on social media trending, 'America is finished!', 'Useless country'.

But three weeks ago, Nigerians trended 'Nigeria is finished' because of a two-minute power outage at Murtala Muhammed International Airport. It was so bad that a Kenyan influencer had to intervene to appeal to Nigerians not to destroy brand Nigeria before the world. More than anything, the issue we face is the attitude of our people, who feel they can destroy Nigeria and restore themselves.

If you don't love your country, your country will not favour you!
