It’s time to meet our 2024 squad, first up is Elizabeth McKinnon.
A first year U23, she’s riding at World Cup level on the cyclocross field and has had an accomplished junior career on the road. We can’t wait to see how far she can go!
Welcome to Saint Piran, Elizabeth 🤝🖤💙
Today we have our first returning rider to announce, Hannah Bayes.
This is her third season with Saint Piran WRT. A talented crit rider and hill climber, her experience and race craft will help our less experienced riders learn the ropes.
Welcome back, Hannah 🖤💙
Next up is our second new rider for 2024, Katie-Anne Calton.
A first year U23, she’s had excellent results in the junior ranks, on the road and track. With a fast sprint, she’ll be looking to be at the pointy end of races in 2024.
Welcome to Saint Piran, Katie-Anne 🤝🖤💙
Our next rider to announce is Rachel Galler, who is back for her fourth season with the team.
One to watch in the hilly races, she had an injury stricken 2023 season but finished on a very strong note with 14th in Curlew Cup.
Welcome back, Rachel 🖤💙
Today one of our new signings, Elizabeth McKinnon, raced the National Cyclocross Championships, alongside new MTB team rider, Grace Inglis.
It may not have gone as planned but marks the end of a successful first U23 CX season. Grace was🥉in the elite race 🥳
Well done both!
Next up in our rider announcements is another returning rider for 2024, Ailsa McLagan.
She moved up from our 0503 development team last season after impressing us with consistent results and a strong performance in her first National Series race.
Welcome back, Ailsa 🖤💙
Today’s rider announcement is another new recruit, Stassi Bowler.
A former triathlete and time trial specialist, Stassi is now in her third season of road racing and is seeing an upward curve of results as she gains in confidence.
Welcome to Saint Piran, Stassi 🤝🖤💙
And last, but not least, we have another returning rider for 2024, Sophie Holmes.
After an illness marred 2023 campaign, Sophie’s determined to get back to the level we know she’s capable of, which saw her achieve top 5 placings in the Tour Series.
Welcome back, Sophie 🖤💙
Alongside the National Series, we’ll also be racing the British Team Cup this season. One of the UK’s premier women’s National B series, it always produces good racing and we’re looking forward to getting stuck in! Here’s a few of our favourite 📸 moments from last year’s series.
@BritishGas appalling service! Now spent days trying to sort out (on behalf of my 84 year old widowed vulnerable father) 3 X bills he received on the same day covering the same time period. 1 for £1500, 1 for £1600 and 1 for £4200! No one can ever help and at 5 pm cut you off.
@ISACnov2012@Essex_CC@BBCSpotlight@itvanglia@itn Words fail.....See sketch! We've had our family with us now for 4 weeks. They have been issued with their cards for work, health, benefits, children in local school etc. The decision made in your case defies belief.
@SAFEWomen2 I never like to like such posts. Stalking is a crime and services and agencies need to understand they have to look at the whole picture and not just an individual incident.
@GMB I know there's a war on in Ukraine because for the past 4 weeks we've been hosting a Ukrainian refugee family. I also know because of Covid I was unable to visit my dying mother in hospital until she was in palliative care by which time it was too late. Johnson should go.
@Catheri32806651@Peston I care about what is going on in Ukraine to the extent we are hosting a Ukrainian refugee family for the past 4 weeks & for however long is necessary but I'm also furious about Johnson & his team partying when I couldn't visit my dying mother in hospital until palliative care.
Ok… So I’ve just made a new Facebook specifically for what I’m doing out here. Can I ask a HUGE favour please?? A few follows, shares, retweets etc etc 🙏🏻 I’ll be able to reach a wider audience. Will still be updating my Twitter like I have been. Thank you in advance all 🙂

@jaseman38@lovebristol@PaMediaGroup@ukhomeoffice@pritipatel It's understandably hard for them. 5 weeks ago they lived a normal life with hopes & dreams as many of us have but that's all been dashed for them. They're safe & grateful as I know others with similar plight would be in the UK if they could get through the red tape.😞
