Rose garden, colonnade, oval office, East wing, reflecting pool… and now the cherry blossoms? This guy is single-handedly destroying Washington history and the Republicans just keep allowing it. Aren’t they supposed to be conservative??
Conserve something.
Nick Paul: "Growing up in Mississauga, being a Leafs fan. In over an hour, I had 600 messages and missed calls. Having a Leafs jersey on and pretending to score goals. All of this in a short period of time, it still hasn't settled in. More than anything, it's just excitement."
Thing I like about Leafs new bottom-6 is that it knows what it is. PK, check, do it right. For years Leafs bottom-6 has included like… Spezza and Thornton, Robertson, Jarnkrok, Domi, all these guys that didn’t really wanna play that part. Can skate, bigger, just more predictable
These trees were a gift from the Japanese and the oldest in DC
When Nats Park was built, the owners purchased cherry trees specifically bred to bloom early
Planted them in the outfield and cared for them lovingly
Like these trees have been cared for for years and years
They would early in time for Opening Day
When the entire city was covered in pink blooms
Thousands of Americans plan trips to DC to see them
And the monuments
And tour the WH entering through the majestic East Wing
On tours that were managed by the First Lady’s office
Trump doesn’t give a damn about history, heritage, tradition, relationships with foreign allies
If he did, he wouldn’t have unceremoniously torn down the East Wing
Is there ANYONE in DC who will stop this bullshit?
ANYONE
Can everyone just step back and realize how insane it is that the US Supreme Court had to rule on the constitutionality of the US CONSTITUTION and the vote to uphold the Constitution wasn't unanimous!!!
Duhaime is fast and hits everything that moves and has some snarl. At the very least, enjoyable bottom-six winger for the Leafs. Maybe makes others expendable?
And ultimately, like, if Brady wants to be just another guy on the ice and get no media attention that he can't control and to be just a guy on the street that's totally his call, we just better not hear about him being the ultimate Alpha player or whatever ever again
The fact that the *best* PR answer available to him was "I'd rather coast as a depth guy on an already established contender than remain the captain of an upper-mid team on the rise and keep working for it" shows just how much of an easy-way-out move this is
