Abzu specializes in applying its expertise in siRNA, saRNA, ASOs, and anti-miRNA and its proprietary, explainable AI technology to build the future of RNA Tx.

"Conventional statistical methods only allowed for calculating the effect of a single gene. In contrast, the symbolic regression models from the #QLattice revealed combinations of genes and modules."

This is the kind of scientific knowledge our AI delivers: Not a black-box model that generates predictions, but an explainable model that can tell you what will happen -- and why! Watch how ⏯

We ditched the traditional swag option for a more personal and green approach by encouraging Abzoids to bring their preferred textile – preferably pre-loved – to screen-print our logo on. Neat!
Shoutout to Abzoid Maria Jacobsen for the awesome idea and execution!

4 years ago at Abzu, things looked very different! We had a Zoom room open all day, which had an average of eight Abzoids at any time with various emotions (concentration, frustration, amusement, etc.), or sometimes empty chairs or couches as symbols of solidarity, or the occasional cat or kid vying for attention.

Don't split hairs over stratified data splitting! 💇♂️ @KBroloes makes it easy.
This is part one of a two-part developer diary on building a stratified data splitter for Abzu’s python library Feyn® and the QLattice®.

A supercomputing center with 15,000 Nvidia H100s! Impressive, and a major boost for Danish AI research. As a skeptic about the growing use of black box AI in scientific research, I am also concerned.
In drug discovery, and in most other fields, understanding the science is just as important as predictions. We need to understand pathologies, pathways, and modes of interaction, not just throw data at a supercomputer and get predictions that may be correct but which nobody understands.
Otherwise, we will end up like ignorants who visit an Oracle of Delphi, hoping to get answers without understanding.
I am happy that this amazing machine is being built, but don't give up on good old science, please.
Incidentally, there are types of AI that can help with real scientific discovery, too.
