There's no money for defence but he could find £30 bn to give to Mauritious for the Chagos Islands. There needs to be an inquiry into all Starmer's dealings as PM after he's gone.
The Murrell scandal may be over in the courts, but serious questions remain unanswered.
The public are entitled to know why a case of such enormous political significance took years to conclude and only did so after Scotland had gone to the polls.
Asking those questions is not an attack on justice. It is a defence of public confidence in it.
The Crown Office exercises immense power yet faces remarkably little scrutiny, while the SNP continues to resist reform of the Lord Advocate’s dual role.
No institution should expect “trust us” to be enough. The questions are legitimate, and the scrutiny is long overdue.

So many people asking why Murrell gave the SNP a loan when he was stealing from it.
It's rather obvious isn't it?
The party was on the brink of being unable to pay it's bills which would have resulted in a massive inquiry into the books.
So he gave the loan to cover himself.
Ed Miliband:
❌ More expensive energy
❌ More expensive transport
❌ More expensive food
And now they want you to stop eating meat.
Net Zero isn't just an energy policy anymore—it's a lifestyle restriction programme.
Here's John Swinney on the BBC in 2021 saying there was no problem with the SNP finance's👇
His childhood friend Peter Murrell continued stealing from SNP members AFTER this date.
Murrell knew he had the protection of Swinney. No wonder Swinney's running scared of an inquiry.
I fear I have been too hard on Nicola Sturgeon for not seeing the camper van parked on her mother-in-law’s driveway. I now understand her husband hid it behind 108 loo rolls. Apologies.
It took them a long time to find a replacement and IIRC, their accounts were delayed as a consequence. The SNP finances were not run by just one person, there was a finance committee and numerous professionals involved and extensive systems of controls. Expenses would not have been signed off by just one person. To me, as a retired chartered accountant who worked as an auditor at the start of my career, for your auditors to resign is almost unprecedented. The SNP was therefore a sophisticated fraud scheme, breaching both electoral law and company law. I expect the donor group that is commencing private legal action will be able to make a very strong case that Sturgeon is partly responsible. If she signed off the accounts then she is liable. There is probably directors' professional indemnity insurance in place but this doesn't pay out if the directors act with malfeasance, so she could be facing a hefty bill. How she escaped jail time over what she did to Alex Salmond is beyond me. Sturgeon is a thoroughly dishonest and nasty piece of shit, always has been.
@JohnSwinney@ScotlandNT While everyone else in Scotland scrapes to earn enough money to feed and clothe their weans, homeless live on the streets, drug addicts die on the streets, SNP wankers steal public money, ferries don't sail, roads degrade, NHS queues get longer. Aye knock yourself oot John
@markthehibby@AMachaggis Kelly is a symptom of how far Scotland has fallen under the SNP. That an allegedly serious current affairs programme will pay a fee to garner the opinions of a done nothing, know nothing bimbo simply because she supports the regime is a damning indictment on the nation.
Dishonest John Swinney says we should get over the IRA troubles 🙄 Dishonest John says the matter of Branchform and the scandal of N Sturgeon is over 🙄
Yet the man still talks about and blames Thatcher for Scotlands problems she’s been dead since 2013 and out of office since 1990 🙄
Motherwell/Hearts…
VAR to ref - “That’s a penalty”
Ref to VAR - “No, it’s not”
Motherwell/Celtic

BrassNic viciously hounded Alexander over a donation under £1k. Now cries “she’s the victim” when she slammed the books shut on anyone demanding transparency. All while living with the embezzeler & his stolen goods -- by day covering it up & destroying anyone trying to expose him
