Academia often makes us believe that our experiments didn't work/papers weren't accepted coz we hadn't worked hard enough. That's wrong coz neither the science is under our control, nor the peer review process.

There have been so many moments in my life where I have wondered, "How can I ever do this?"
And yet eventually, I (with lot of support & encouragement) was able to do most if not all of those things.
If I can, so can you.

I wish instead of rushing to move things back in person, universities would just give us all a break. I am so tired of constantly feeling like I'm behind and lacking the energy to do anything more than the bare minimum.
In a rush of academia, don't forget to enjoy life, family time, good food, outdoor activities, traveling, etc. If you are thinking to do it all after you finish a/an experiment, paper, school, Ph.D., Postdoc, etc., so remember this is just one life, & time is not coming back.
