Princess Beatrice was built in 1896 by Harry Tagg who operated her until she was sold to Mears in 1914 and Thames Launches in 1947. Tragically she was damaged beyond repair when she broke free from her moorings in a flood in 1963 and slammed against Richmond bridge.
This grey boat keeps pitching up on our private moorings, stealing electricity, and making a nuisance of themselves. If you see it (it’s out of Brentford) please be aware they are likely up to no good. There is no name on it. #teddington#thames#brentford#twickenham#richmond
So proud to be part of the @ryasailability program, collaboration to breakdown barriers and see more sailor both visually impaired and volunteers on the water of all ages.
One of our moorers, the fantastic artist Kimm Stevens will be exhibiting at the @LandmarkArts Autumn Fair on the 19/20th October 🎃 Do go down and see him if you can !! @PopupTeddington#teddington#thames Here’s some of his river related art, there’s lots of others too !
Did you know that we've got a towpath #accessibility map on our website #BoatsThatTweet? Whether it's a wheelchair, a pushchair or wheelbarrow full of boat supplies we think you'll find this useful. https://t.co/NvqEiCoScX @disabledboaters @ethelbargetrust @WaterwaysEXP
