Creating good work for disabled people should be at the heart of government policy. This came a step closer yesterday with the inaugural meeting of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Good Work for Disabled People, which I chaired.
As part of our work we will be convening a Stakeholder Advisory Board to ensure the lived experience of disabled people is central to what we do. I look forward to continuing this vital work to the benefit of both our disabled community and our national economy.

Access to Work is only treasury funded programme that has sustainability helped to reduce the disability employment gap. By funding Access to Work and administering it properly you would get hundreds of thousands of disabled people off the waiting list for it, actually in work.
"The stories we're hearing about people who never thought they could work, getting into work through this kind of help are really encouraging" - Work and Pensions Secretary Pat McFadden

@UKLabour Fixing Access to Work will only help you achieve your goal of getting more disabled people in work. 62,000 people are on a waiting list. You already have a solution, it just needs more funding and to be administered properly.
