The ramps for Al Balad Music Festival are ready thanks to Sanad Abu Assaf! The event is now accessible to people with physical disabilities and some of the shows will have sign language interpreters. We are happy to have been able to support such an important initiative.

For #LazordCommunityDay, we held a Dream Job Match for youth w/ disabilities. Thanks to @RomeroGroup for inviting Osama to be a chef at Sufra, Moka Cafe for inviting Mohammad to be a baker, & @CozmoJordan for allowing Bilal, Hamza & Mahmoud to experience working in a supermarket!

During the volunteers activity in Weibdeh rating the accessibility of places, they ran into HE Prime Minister Dr. @OmarRazzaz where they shared with him details about the #LazordCommunityDay and talked to him about Accessible Jordan!

Today we partnered with @INJAZorg and Drabzeen on for #LazordCommunityDay to raise awareness about disability. We trained a group of volunteers on how to use the Accessible Jordan website and then they went out in Weibdeh and rated the accessibility of many places in the area!

Today we partnered with @INJAZorg and Drabzeen on for #LazordCommunityDay and organized several activities to raise awareness about disability. The first activity was assisting the participants in building this ramp to make Drabzeen’s office accessible!
