Missed yesterday’s #WHA79 high-level dialogue, Rethinking Power, Financing and Global Health Delivery hosted by the @AccraReset?

The conversation focused on how global health systems can shift toward country-led delivery and sustainable outcomes at scale.

“Africa has brought in three times as much of its own co-investment as the Pandemic Fund has provided,” said @PriyaBasu2017, Exec. Head of the @Pandemic_Fund.

The message was clear: countries must lead. The Pandemic Fund’s model centers co-investor countries in defining priorities, strengthening systems, and mobilizing domestic investment through cross-sector collaboration and policy commitment.

Africa cannot keep entering billion-dollar negotiations underprepared.

As an Accra Reset flagship @AfroChampions and  @ASG_Africa of Governance signed an agreement to launch the Sankoree Institute of Global Negotiators (SIGN) , Africa’s first structured credentialling programme for sovereign negotiators.

From mining and debt to #trade, #health, #AI & #climate finance, SIGN will help equip a new generation of African negotiators with the tools, preparation, institutional memory, and strategic capacity needed to secure better outcomes for the continent.
