Accretion is one galaxy of four hundred sectors, played in the browser, and it doesn't stop when you log off. Your market orders keep trading, your factories keep running and your skills keep training while you sleep.
It's early days, so the trade routes and reputations are still there for the making. The quiet sectors pay rather better, for reasons that become clear fairly quickly. A lost ship stays lost.
Nothing is for sale: no adverts, no pay-to-win, no energy bars. Fly for fifteen minutes without signing up, and the first month is free. $2 a month after that, if you'd like to stay.

@GamewithDave Accretion: A space sim trader. Huge universe. Mine, Trade, Pirate & Loot the choice is yours. A bit like EVE, but more like the original Elite. Hopefully the perfect mix of fun exploring and a little bit of depth to the mechanics and economics.
So the sectors are empty, and that is a problem. But players who discover (and therefore name) sectors get a reward so players are encouraged to go and map out the galaxy. But ultimately the universe needs more people within it.
There are NPC's trading and stations shipping cargo to each other. There are also NPC outlaws in almost every area with different appetites for risk so they are a bit empty but I'm hoping the balancing will allow people to venture and make an area theirs.
I'm working on an update that will allow players to purchase stations and run them instead of out in space, but we are a while off that yet as we are discovering some fairly gnarly game paths that need to be carefully thought about. This means a player could buy a station and offer lower rates, therefore attract business to the sector and station.
We've been building a space game, and it's reached the point where we'd quite like people to play it.
You start with a shuttle and one mining laser. From there it's mining, trading, building and the odd disagreement with pirates, across four hundred sectors linked by gates. Busy sectors can afford police. Quiet ones pay rather better, for reasons that become clear fairly quickly.
Lose a ship and it stays lost. The currency is earned, never sold.
It runs in your browser and the first month is free, with no subscription to set up beforehand. If you'd like to carry on after that, it's $2 a month.

Getting depressed about the riots in Paris? Treat yourself to an excursion into the Accretion Universe a persistent online galaxy and let yourself go. Mine, Trade or become a pirate the choice is yours and itβs probably a lot more calming.

Free for a month, absolutely no obligation to continue paying the pittance we are charging for a subscription.
Absolutely no Ads, my word we hate them and we like you all far to much to mess with your browser and push adverts on you.

@IndieGameWarden Accretion: An MMORPG Space Sim which is kind of the hybrid child of EVE & classic elite. Mine, trade, bounties or rule the universe as a space pirate looting the innocent.

@WhoElsButMe Accretion is an online space sim, my intention was something not quite as deep in the mechanics as EVE, but not as simple as the original Elite but with the whole space trader thing.

Accretion has just had a massive push tightening up the gameplay and the UI. Itβs been a slog but the results feel much more useable now. Looking for play testers to take a look and offer feedback.
