Not really. In your closest circle the most dramatic and extreme option can be pitched. Doesn't mean you'll think that option is the best idea/approach. It's the same concept.

There are several layers to the chain of command and execution of an order. Don't let the media convince you otherwise.

Now I am convinced. He truly doesnt believe in what he is saying about BTC. He argues against it becuase it gets the clicks and viewership.

He doesnt care about being wrong or right. Just the attention and engagement the output gets by being the "nay-sayer."

The attention is far too profitable for him to be a proponent. Being the "loudest" and longest running contrarian attracts all forms of media attention. Like the weatherman, they get paid regardless if they're right or wrong but people will always tune in to listen to the opinion of what the weather might be.

What is harder for me to decipher is who is leeching off of who here. Curious, whose idea was this bit?

BIP-110 exposed a hilarious truth:

A lot of “Bitcoiners” only believe Bitcoin is permissionless when they personally approve of what people do with it.

For years:

“Bitcoin is neutral.”

“Bitcoin is censorship resistant.”

“Bitcoin is digital energy.”

“Nobody controls it.”

Then someone uses blockspace in a way they dislike and suddenly they become the communist hall monitors of Bitcoin:

“BITCOIN IS MONEY ONLY 😡”

Oh, so Bitcoin can be anything…just like energy….but only after the Use Case Committee approves it?

You’re all a bunch of fckin communists.

Bitcoin doesn’t give a single fuck about your religious definition of what it’s “supposed” to be.

It has consensus rules.

If a transaction follows the rules, pays the fee and gets mined, your feelings about its “purpose” are irrelevant.

If Bitcoin is only permissionless until someone does something you hate with it then you never believed in permissionless money.

Please fork off, build BSV 2.0 and spend the next decade screaming that your deserted chain is the “real Bitcoin.”

The rest of us will let the network decide.

Tate man, im a nobody, I personally went through this. I too wanted to express my innocence. My name dragged through the mud for a year and a half. Not a single person ever asked for my side of the story the entire time.

First hand experience of being treated as "Guilty until proved innocent." Put my life on pause for 5+ years. Unhireable, turned my life upside down and inside out. Turned me bitter towards the judicial system.

It almost broke me. All because of a lie. All because of a false accusation. Guilty until proved innocent.

Dont let them break you.
