Through KeMYC, we are driving community-led advocacy that saves lives and protects futures.
At the heart of our action is youth-driven engagement, empowering communities with knowledge, and prevention tools.
We're the change we want to see!

We must have conversations around what it really takes, and means to be a youth champion especially in this quest to eliminate #malaria in Kenya, and Africa.
We're daring you to make your comments on what it means to you as an individual.

Community outreach is important to create awareness on key health indicators. Conversations must be amplified to reach everyone on healthy and robust living. The youth have what it takes to drive and shape this narrative.

Through last year’s malaria-focused SBCC strategy, the KeMYC sustained community mobilization, school-based engagement (at the tertiary level), and grassroots storytelling to keep prevention conversations alive.
This summit is a restart button for SBCC globally.
In 2025, Social Behavior Change (SBC) programming across sectors slowed dramatically due to funding withdrawal. Critical malaria communication efforts risked losing momentum.
But we, the YOUTHS, did not go dormant.

@MalariaYouthKE To Sheila I have always wondered Many people take malaria drugs anytime they feel feverish, or even when they actually have malaria and sometimes stop once they feel better. Can this habit make the body resistant to malaria drugs — and how real is the risk of drug resistance ?”
@MalariaYouthKE to belita ; We’ve seen how TikTok trends, memes, and hashtags can go viral overnight. Imagine if youth used that same energy to spotlight malaria issues like drug stockouts or patient mistreatment. How can we flip social media from just vibes to a powerful tool ?
