Yes, you can forge an appointment letter and claim that you are a DG but appointment letters are signed by the SGF not the COS. Who allegedly issued his appointment letter or what signature is his allegedly forged appointment letter showing?

Someone higher than a DG must ask that you be allocated office space in the Federal Secretariat. Who made that request?

Someone higher than a DG must write asking that you be given an alleged take-off grant. You cannot yourself write to the Budget Office and the Office of the Accountant General that you should be given a take-off grant. Who allegedly wrote?

How did the agency get into the budget?

Usually, you will go for budget defence as part of a cohort. In this case, it will probably be as part of the State House cohort. Who defended or coordinated the defence of the budget estimates before the National Assembly before they were appropriated?

Did the guy earn a salary in the more than one year he was there? If so, who documented him and asked that he be paid?

With which money was the guy running the office for more than one year if nothing was allegedly released?

Who allegedly wrote to the CBN asking them to open an account for the ‘Council’? The ‘Council’ cannot just walk into CBN and ask to open an account, as if it’s a commercial bank looking for customers.

Who allegedly approved the ‘Council’s’ manning levels and who allegedly approved the waiver to recruit 300 staff?

Was the guy allegedly really that good? Or were there egregious failings at multiple points in the system?

These questions and more are often met with deafening silence. Everyone sighs heavily and uses the ubiquitous expression “Na waa.” Me sef, I sigh heavily and answer “Na real waa!”

This is a case of the proverbial tse tse that has landed on the scrotum. Leave it and it will cause sickness and pain. Swat it and it will cause pain because of its location.

Anyhow you look at it, there are questions begging for answers. And whatever the answers will be, they will not be good.

Still, I hope that there’ll be some answers soon…for the sake of our public administration system.

This is so true.

People don't realize how transferable their skills are. They think because they studied law, they can only be a lawyer. Or because they studied accounting, they must work in a firm.

But really, that's not how it works.

Law teaches you how to argue. How to write clearly. How to read between the lines of any document. You can use that in more places than you think.

Accounting teaches you to follow the money. To spot what doesn't add up. To think in systems. That's useful in business, in investing, even in running a home.

Chemical engineering teaches you process thinking. How to take something from point A to point B efficiently. Operations people, product managers, and logistics guys basically do the same thing with different tools.

Most people are sitting on abilities they don't even recognize because they're looking at their certificate instead of what the certificate actually trained them to do.

Go one level deeper. Ask yourself, what did my course actually teach me to do? Not the subject itself but the thinking behind it.

No skill/course of study is a waste. You just haven't found the right context yet.

This is cope. You can discourage people from yahoo without lying about reality. Yahoo is simply financial crime and the bulk of the world money is gotten from financial crime. London itself is the financial crime capital of Europe.

Many yahoo boys diversified their assets, cleansed their money and are living on investments. How you make money is irrelevant to the world system, it is what you do with the money you make that determines if you live in wealth or poverty. You can make money legally and still go broke.

When we say actions have consequences - even the right ones, it means that making good decisions and living your life right does not mean the universe will reward you with wealth. Most times, it means you won't make money, but you'll be able to sleep because your conscience is clear and you wake up holding the full measure of your integrity. To make money in this world, most times, you need to dead your conscience. It is a dog eat dog world.

The whole point of living right, is because it is right, not because it will fetch you money. Many times, it won't because you convince yourself that all money is not good money. That is the consequences of making the right action. The world system itself rewards ruthlessness. If you get caught and punished- that is consequences. If you never get caught, and you live large - that is consequences.

Actions have consequences- you just never know which one is yours.
