The silence of every Western journalist & news organization, throughout this genocide, on the Israeli targeting & killing of Palestinian journalists will forever be the legacy of 21st century Western journalism.
The rest of us will make sure it will never be otherwise.
After raiding our headquarters to prevent us from addressing the country on Uganda's 61st 'independence' day, police and the military have proceeded to arrest party leaders and supporters. The Secretary General @DavidLRubongoya, Spokesperson Hon. @JoelSsenyonyi and scores of other comrades are now detained at Kira Road and other Police Stations around the city. We owe it to ourselves to resist this impunity!
Quote this tweet with FIVE Ugandans you believe can make a better president than Museveni today.
I’ll go first:
1. Robert Kabushenga.
2. Irene Ovongi.
3. General Mugisha Muntu.
4. Prof. Oloka Onyango.
5. Prof. Ddumba Ssentamu.
Thank you to President Joe Biden for properly recognizing the #ArmenianGenocide today. This is extremely important but only a milestone towards the long road of justice ahead with Turkey. https://t.co/nlVMmRpZWg
Clearly this is not an "election" anyone should recognize until the true results are announced. Read The New York Times article to start with

@mugishamuntu It's very tragic. I'm still in total disbelief about her untimely death. A lady of integrity, with a gentle welcoming soul, always putting others and the Country first before self. Such a big loss to ANT and to Uganda as a whole. It's a very tough time for us. May her soul RIP
