Moreh SDPO Chingtham Anand was shot by Kuki militants at Eastern Ground at around 9.30 am today. Sources said that a sniper shot Anand and the bullet hit fatally. He was overseeing the cleaning of Eastern ground for helicopter landing when the sniper shot him. DSP Anand has succumbed to his wounds and passed away at Moreh.
