🚨The Syrian Regime Is Displacing 1,000 Shia Families In Western Homs
A process of demolishing homes in a Shia village is currently underway, as sectarian State forces invaded the village & threatened residents.
The excuse used is that the correct building permits were not acquired, which is precisely the Israeli excuse for the mass demolition of Palestinian homes in occupied East Jerusalem & the West Bank.
Just like Israel, the Syrian authorities prioritise their sect over others. The Israelis issue permits for Jewish housing & do not move to demolish homes constructed by settlers, just as the Syrian regime permits Sunni homes & structures to remain when built without the proper licensing.
This also comes at a time when government mismanagement has led to serious shortages in Syria & a surge in the loss of jobs.

The CPJ decision to functionally change the definition of journalist - while our news industry in the U.S. is filled with former IDF soldiers covering the occupation & genocide they helped build and justify, including Barak Ravid who was in the IDF reserves until March 2023 - is not only indicative of the racism under which the entire western journalism order functions but also of the extent of the complicity of this industry in the slaughter of Palestinian journalists.
A dark, shameful day and proof that no, things are not getting “better” - the whole project is to erase and minimize these crimes until everyone forgets and moves on.
My dear friend Saja barely received any donations for the past 12 days. Her sweet little boy Asser just had his birthday, but his mother couldn't be with him - she's in the hospital after being injured in an Israeli strike. She couldn't even afford to send him sweets.
Please share her story, follow her (@AserSewar2), donate and RT🙏

Routine destruction of Palestinian roads and water infrastructure in the Occupied West Bank, featuring the armored D9 Caterpiller produced in East Peoria, Illinois and provided free of charge using our taxpayer dollars.
should also be a reminder that the club that stuck by him and still plays him week in and out is Mainz. the same club that cancelled Anwar El-Ghazi’s contract for showing support to Palestine.
Today, Israel killed one-year-old Siwar Abu Draz—the same name as my niece’s granddaughter, Siwar, who was also killed by Israel along with her parents, grandparents, brother, uncles, and aunts.
How is this not assault? A keffiyeh is a 🇵🇸 clothing item. Imagine this university faculty ripping off a kippa off of the body of an Israeli student, they would have been fired and prosecuted for hate instantly. Anti-Palestinian hate is mainstream in Canadian institutions.

The child, Diana Deeb Kahil, is suffering from complex heart defects and severe malnutrition, a critical condition that threatens her life with every passing moment.
Israel has banned sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) from entering the Gaza Strip.
Bicarbonate is an essential ingredient in kidney dialysis; with supplies running out, the lives of 650 patients relying on dialysis are in imminent danger.
This artificial health crisis is being manufactured by the criminal Israeli regime; the intent is genocidal.
When we met Suhail, he was caring for his young niece alone after she witnessed the martyrdom of her mother. She lay beside her mother's body, a trauma no child should ever endure.

Before that day, life was already difficult. She lives with a cleft lip, a heart condition, and brain atrophy. Since losing her mother, she has stopped speaking entirely. The weight of grief and psychological trauma has stolen her voice.
Where do we even begin to help?
On June 8, The Sameer Project distributed 305 mujaddara meals in Ard Al-Tayeb Camp for $917, including 11% commission. We came to provide food, but meeting this family reminded us that hunger is only one piece of the suffering families in Gaza endure.
A hot meal and an additional follow up food parcel can help ease some immediate burdens. But what about cleft lip surgery? What about physiotherapy? Medication? Hygiene support? Psychological care? Who will stand beside this child as she tries to rebuild a sense of safety after witnessing the unimaginable?
Because of funding shortages, we have stopped accepting new referrals for individual medical cases. Yet some situations make it impossible to walk away. We cannot see a child struggling and simply do nothing.
We do not yet have all the answers. But we will follow up. We will search for every possible avenue of support. Assist by donating to our Medical Campaign: https://t.co/LLwKJegeB1
