BREAKING: JD Vance just accidentally confirmed the DIRTY SECRET about Trump's Iran deal.

JD Vance went on CBS News and tried to spin Donald Trump's Iran deal. Instead, he CONFIRMED exactly how badly Trump got fleeced.

CBS correspondent Ed O'Keefe asked Vance point-blank whether Iran would have access to a $300 BILLION reconstruction fund. Vance's answer? Essentially yes — "funded by the Gulf Coast coalition so long as they honor their end of the obligation."

So let's do the math that the Trump administration desperately doesn't want you to do. Let's compare Trump's Iran deal to the one Republicans spent a DECADE calling the worst deal in American history — Barack Obama's.

OBAMA'S IRAN DEAL:
• $1.7 billion in unfrozen Iranian assets
• In exchange for a 98% reduction in Iran's uranium stockpile
• And strict limits capping enrichment at 3.7%

TRUMP'S IRAN DEAL:
• $24 BILLION in unfrozen assets and cash
• A $300 BILLION reconstruction fund
• Lifted sanctions
• In exchange for an "opened Strait" under Iran and Oman's control

Read those numbers again. Trump is handing Iran roughly FOURTEEN TIMES the unfrozen cash Obama did — plus a $300 billion reconstruction windfall — after starting a war that nobody wanted, spiking gas prices, and killing the existing ceasefire because he found negotiations "boring." AND the deal just kicks what happens with Iran's uranium stockpile to future negotiations!

Republicans screamed for YEARS that Obama "gave Iran billions" and "appeased the mullahs." They called his deal treasonous. They tore it up. And now their guy is giving Iran an order of magnitude MORE money for a far weaker arrangement.

But here's the part Vance accidentally revealed. He warned that Iranian hardliners would "over-emphasize the benefits that Iran gets while under-emphasizing all the things they have to concede."

That's PROJECTION. Because it's the TRUMP administration that's been over-emphasizing the "wins" while burying the $24 billion, the $300 billion fund, the lifted sanctions, and the fact that the strategic Strait would fall under Iranian and Omani control. Vance is accusing Iran of doing EXACTLY what his own administration is doing — hiding the real terms of the deal from the public.

The man who promised to be tougher than Obama on Iran just handed Tehran the biggest payday in its history — after dragging America into a war first.

$1.7 billion versus $324 billion. That's the difference between Obama's "terrible" deal and Trump's "great" one.

Someone should mention that.

About a week ago, an overwhelming majority of Senegalese politicians put the interests of the Senegalese people above their own personal interests. Ousmane Sonko, the people's hero, was sacked as Prime Minister of Senegal by President Bassirou Diomaye Faye for disagreement over IMF conditionalities.

Allegedly, the president accepted the IMF’s austerity measures, which would have made life very difficult for ordinary Senegalese, but the Prime Minister, Ousmane Sonko, opposed them. His opposition to the president’s approved IMF austerity measures was viewed as insubordination, and as such, he was sacked from his position as Prime Minister.

If what happened to Ousmane Sonko had happened to any upright politician in Sierra Leone, it would have been the end of that person’s political career. In fact, in Sierra Leone, they would have mocked and laughed at him for failing to make a deal with the corrupt elites.

But as we all know, the opposite happened in Senegal, because of the need for an upright leader and a better Senegal, the Speaker of the Senegalese Parliament, El Malick Ndiaye, did what he didn't have to do: he stepped down voluntarily, and Sonko was elected to be the new Speaker of the Senegalese Parliament. Sonko is now the head of the legislative branch of Senegal. This move by the Senegalese Parliament strategically positioned Sonko in a politically relevant platform and gave him the power to deliver for the Senegalese people in the National Assembly/Parliament.

With all the tribalism and self-centredness engulfing the politics in Sierra Leone, one can only imagine if what happened in Senegal between the Speaker of Parliament and Ousmane Sonko will ever happen in Sierra Leone.

Remember that Sonko made a similar sacrifice for the greater good of Senegal, by selflessly appointing Bassirou Diomaye Faye in his stead, and Faye later became the president of Senegal replacing Macky Sall’s regime. A regime that is deemed the most corrupt and ineffective in Senegal’s history.

It seems that the Senegalese political model is logically unique. It is simple for the selfless and complex for the selfish. Their political model is: To get rid of the corrupt and wicked politicians, the good politicians have to put their egos aside and rally around a purpose and endorse a leader who will propel that purpose for the greater good of the country.

As simple as this Sengalese political model may appear to be, it is not simple in an atmosphere where selfishness, tribalism, and geographical sensitivity prevail. These impediments are responsible for the developmental deficit of many countries, including Sierra Leone.

While some of us give considerable abidance into successful result-backed governance, most politicians ignore the needs of the people and focus their attention on the titles and encomium of the office.

Let us copy from our neighbors in West Africa. A lot of good things are happening around us. Massive developments and economic freedom in the Sahel Countries, as well as Ghana, Senegal, and Guinea. It is important to note that patriotism backed by common sense is all it took to achieve their objectives. To further simplify the driving force behind their globally admired achievements, these countries eschewed the maiopic connotations that kept them in the vicious cycle of fictitious independence and cater to the welfare of their people.

Aspiring politicians should be attentive to the deplorable hopeless state of Sierra Leoneans and make it a point of obligation to put the needs of the people first. Deliverance from the grip of utter mediocrity is imminent and must take preeminence.
