We are rescue hedgehogs from @MedwayHogRescue.

We can't see so we have moved to a lovely secure garden in Upchurch.

We share our names with awesome magicians!

The frog that randomly appeared in the hoggery has grown a LOT!

He chills out in Guy's water bowl most evenings. :)

I'm puzzled, we don't have a pond and don't know of anyone nearby with one either...

(Remember, Guy is blind and lives in a purpose-built secure garden so out in the day IS okay in this instance).

Me: Jonathan is mowing the hoggery.  I'm taking you with me to keep you safe from the whirling blades!

New arrival at the hoggery. This is Chess.

Chess was found weighing only 410g and out in the daytime.

Let's hope it is a short visit to get Chess checked over and fed up to release weight. We will keep you updated!

@CodeRecce Yes! A couple of years ago we found him out playing in the snow and brought him inside!

In 2017 we welcomed Herbie, a quirky old man hedgehog, to the hoggery. We didn't expect to have him very long.

He actually had a very long retirement and lots of adventures with us.

Sadly he passed away yesterday. :'(

We will miss him very much. He was a real character.

Bath for Herbie after he decided to bathe in a swampy mud puddle! 🙄

He has to stay inside for a bit now to make sure he is completely dry... I suspect this was his plan all along!
