This weekend our school was officially recognized as the Action for Education Public School, and we threw a huge celebration! We also saw our nursing students and delivered laptops to a school in Petoa that is naming their computer lab after our President!! Such a special time 🇭🇳

With that, we’re collecting needed public health data on common conditions to then develop targeted interventions, especially for our pts needing advanced imaging or surgery!

Congratulations to our entire @actionforedu medical, dental, and optometry team who worked tirelessly into the night every day of clinic and serving nearly 2,000 Honduran patients on our huge trip this past week in Petoa!

We have been working towards this trip ever since COVID and officially launched our electronic medical record to serve as a way to monitor our pts health over time and provide to nearby partner clinics to build a local health network for long-term care.

We are so grateful for this team of fantastic guys along with the Computers for Education program sponsored by Bethel United Methodist Church for providing and setting up our AcE Public School with over 25 laptops! We now plan to build a new computer lab for our students! 🙌🏼 🇭🇳
