Congratulations to our PhD student @ayeisha_m_a who presented her PhD work at her final Milestone 3 presentation last week, decoding the #genetic interplay between #stress and #AlzheimersDisease 🧠 🧬 🥳
This one’s been in the pipeline for a while so we’re very proud to now have an Australian Dementia EMCR portal up and running! Check it out and upload your profile 👩🔬

On #WorldAlzheimersDay we want to take a moment to recognise and honour the millions of people around the world living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of #dementia.
To learn more about Alzheimer's & the associated risk factors, visit https://t.co/ERocTH99MX
On #WorldAlzheimersDay we would like to acknowledge those living with Dementia or Alzheimer’s disease and their families. Those who have lost their lives to it. Those who give up their time for studies. And finally those who have dedicated their lives to researching this disease.
During #DementiaActionWeek, we would like to recognise people living with dementia and people who support them, such as family members, friends and members of the community.
You inspire and take part in much of the research that we do, for a dementia-friendly future.
Thank you.
It's #DementiaActionWeek! The theme this year is 'Act Now for a Dementia-Friendly future'. We will be tweeting every day to promote Australian early and mid career dementia researchers and what they are doing towards a dementia-friendly future, so please tag us!
