@glenngabe@OritSiMu@glenngabe good stuff. I’m building an agent in Antigravity to test visibility across llms. Still working through how to incorporate fanoutfox data… so this caught my eye
Targeting going WAY wrong. I do my dishes every 3 days. I have an automatic litter changer. I bring clothes to the laundry wash dry, and fold service.

"For people who aren’t building agentic products but are using Claude Code, every 6 months, delete your claude.md file, delete your skills, and delete your hooks. Then see what the model does. It might surprise you.
For Opus 5, we strongly recommend trying to delete all of these things because the model may no longer need the extensive instructions that were necessary for previous models."

Ryan Holiday recommends 12 business books. One is Peter Thiel’s Zero to One.
IG comment section immediately melts down over Thiel.
I point out you can buy a used copy on ThriftBooks for $5 and the author gets $0 in royalties.
Response: “Yeah OK but talking about him gives him word-of-mouth value.”
Meanwhile….. they just writing outraged comments driving algorithmic engagement straight to his name.
The irony is completely lost on these people.
@UofDigital Yes but have you seen how much people save from there subscribe and save necessities (like toilet paper)? The consumers are thriving.
(This was their response.. no joke 😂)
FTC: Amazon you’ve been lying to people about entering a second price auction, but then your I’ll go was bumping up to max bid
Amazon: yeah but have you checked out our prices on subscribe and save toilet paper?
Unpacking the FTC’s case against Amazon
"On Monday, the FTC, along with 22 states, sued Amazon, alleging that it deceived approximately 1.2MM advertisers on its platform by manipulating the mechanics that determined advertising auctions, resulting in more than $20BN in overcharges.
The FTC’s suit alleges that Amazon considered moving to a first-price auction, which might have increased its advertising revenue by charging the winning bidder their submitted bid; internal emails reveal that employees realized that such a move would “incentivize advertisers to lower bids in many cases, which will likely destabilize the market and likely be a one-way door.”
Instead of transitioning to a first-price auction, Amazon instead instituted a “soft-floor reserve pricing mechanism” that algorithmically determined a “fair market value” to attach to the impression: this reserve price served as a “soft floor” in that it didn’t disqualify bids that fell below it but rather was calculated to be a synthetic second price that set the clearing price for the auction."

@eric_seufert Amazon: the FTC failed to establish higher retail prices for everyday consumers, noting that its customer pricing model is built around everyday low prices, coupons and rather than ad cost pass-through (weak!!)
@eric_seufert I wonder why more people aren’t talking about this. great breakdown @eric_seufert
they kept GSP positioning to seem like it was a 2nd price auctions only to push bids to their max without. This is going to be super hard to defend.
