We recommend keeping your dogs leashed at all times in areas where coyotes have been spotted. Our crew will be posting signs at the Oregon Trail Recreation Area. It’s important to take a few moments before you start your outing to brush up on trail information! Stay safe out!
We’ve received reports of coyote sightings in recent days in the Oregon Trail Recreation Area. Users tell us they are exhibiting aggressive behavior. Please remember spring is denning and pup rearing season for coyotes. Do not approach coyotes or wild animals along the trail!
Thank you for your patience and understanding!
