"We're blind to our blindness. We have very little idea of how little we know. We're not designed to know how little we know"
~ #DanielKahneman#RIP
Kahneman died today; this is one of the most remarkable/informative books I've ever read.

Trusting relationships are at the heart of our ability to deliver change. Trust takes time to build & can be lost quickly. To quote a Dutch proverb: "trust comes in like a tortoise & goes out like a horse". The "Trust Trifecta" from @TCI_ca suggests 3 components we need to work on to be trusted leaders & collaborators:
1) Authenticity
2) Connection
3) Competence

"Consciously or unconsciously, leaders put in place structures & practices that make sense to them. These correspond to their way of dealing with the world & mean that an organisation cannot evolve beyond it's leadership's stage of development." That's why approaches to transformational change need to start with mindsets & worldviews, rather than changing processes or structures. TY @PaulJocelyn@CelineSchill https://t.co/FF0wb9LmQy
A powerful new visual of the famous Desmond Tutu quote, created by @Juliet_Young1: ‘We need to stop just pulling people out of the river. Some of us need to go upstream and find out why they are falling in’.
@Tina_Varvaresos Costco pre-made meals have been so great for my family, especially when we are mid-week into all the activities and very pressed for time. Big wins are the lasagna and chicken tacos. Frozen chicken wings with bagged salad also do in a pinch.
The Paradox of Speed: You have to slow down to speed up.
The benefits of slowing down are extensive:
• Restore your energy
• Notice things you previously missed
• Be more deliberate with actions
• Focus on highest leverage opportunities
Move slow to move fast.
If you're looking for a summer read, I just finished this one this morning. It gutted me - it was beautiful, painful, powerful, profound. Highly, highly recommend. Thanks for this @lynn_kawaguchi
