Take steps to protect your children online:
1. Know what platforms your kids are on and what limits you can place on them.
2. Let your kids know that people online may not be who they say they are.
3. Teach children not to use real names or identifying information online.
The details in this case are upsetting. Our office indicted an Ohio man for exploiting, stalking minors online, including a child in South Carolina.
