As we, the Somaliland Diaspora Council, continue our program from the June 26th event, Kulmiye party representatives calls to stand united in calling for Somalilandโs recognition as a sovereign nation within the United Nations. Inspired by the unity and strength of our people, especially our youth, we forge ahead, empowering the next generation to shape our future in unity and pride.
Continuing our programming, KAAH party representative in the UK gave an Inspiring speech at the SLDC event on the 26th of June for the Somaliland Independence Day celebrations event in London.

These people are demonic honestly, the ethnicity โSomaliโ does not exist. These people are Somalian zanzibaris, the language called Somali belongs to the people of Somaliland & Djibouti not these animals from the UN trusteeship Of Mogadishu ๐๐
Weโre excited to share the programming from our recent SLDC event.
These are the powerful speeches delivered by the UK youth leader of #somaliland Ruling party . We hope you enjoy them and we canโt wait to hear your feedback. Stay tuned for more updates!
Big thank you to the Somaliland Midlands community for the swift support and for joining us in celebrating Somalilandโs 66th anniversary. SLDC is here to elevate Somalilandโs narrative on international platforms, and weโre excited to spread our impact by uniting the Somaliland diaspora, starting right here in the UK.
26th June marked the Independence Day of British Somaliland, when our nation gained independence from Britain in 1960.
SLDC commemorated this historic occasion in London, celebrating our heritage, sacrifices, and the journey of our people.
This is the song SLDC commissioned for the 66th anniversary . We hope you enjoy it and understand the meaning behind this important milestone.
Imagine being so fed up with the chaos and criminals in your country that you create an entire new country just to get away from themโฆ
And then those same people start illegally moving into your new country. So now you have to deport these parasites again.
Absolute cinema...
Thank you so much to all the British Somalilanders who came out today, especially our local community, despite the intense heat. Your voices were so powerful, and you made it clear that Somaliland deserves to be acknowledged by our local MP. Together, we showed real strength in pushing for the Somaliland Engagement Bill to be considered in Parliament. I truly appreciate every one of you. (Message by @abdiijama )
We had an incredible interview with the BBC, one of the UKโs legacy broadcasters. In this special segment from the BBC Somali section, we explored the rich history, cultural importance, and the inspiration of youth in the #Somaliland community here in Britain.
@TideBusiness Happy to DM.
The issue is that weโve already spent 2+ weeks emailing support.
Small businesses need access to their funds, not apologies and another support queue.
Hopefully this gets resolved faster now itโs public.
Imagine telling a small business:
โWeโll hold your money for 2+ weeks and give you no clear resolution date.โ
Support via email and chat says โweโre looking into it.โ
Thatโs apparently the answer to everything.
Welcome to @TideBusiness.
Tomorrow, from 4 PM to 7 PM, we are holding a crucial rally in support of the #Somaliland Engagement Bill at Mile End Park (closest to Mile End Station). This constituency hosts the largest Somaliland community in #Britain ๐ฌ๐ง and we need to come together to urge our local MP to sponsor this bill. Please join us, especially residents of Poplar and Limehouse, and be part of this show of unity. The weather will be hot, so bring plenty of water and stay hydrated. We have waited for this - our voices must stay united and heard! #Somaliland #Towerhamlets #Unity #EngagementBill
26th June Somaliland Independence Day is coming up I better see every Lander have even more energy and engagement than we had for 18 May. โผ๏ธโผ๏ธโผ๏ธ
